Father Figures Survey 2012

As part of our drive over the past 5 years to make our Community Learning and Home School Partnership services more accessible and relevant for Father Figures (male carers; dads; step dads; foster dads; granddads; uncles etc) we have carried out two Father Figure surveys (2007 and 2009). The results of these surveys have been used to raise staff awareness and develop services that are more inclusive for men.

This year we are looking to extend the influence of the survey to include other services and agencies who engage mums, dads and other carers to support all aspects of their own and their children’s development. We also want to highlight what is working well and how we can build upon this practice.

Calling All Male Carers!

We would be grateful if you have a child who lives or attends school or nursery in South Lanarkshire if you would take 5 minutes to complete the survey.

Take the Fathers' Survey

We truly wish to hear from you - in response to feedback from our previous Father Figures Surveys we have developed our Home School Partnership Website (www.hsp.lanlinks.org) and changed our publicity materials and used quotes from male carers in stafftraining courses.

To thank you for taking the time to complete the survey, we are giving you the opportunity to have your details entered into ourprize draw at the end of the questionnaire.

Calling all Children's Services and Partnership Staff!

This year we are also running a survey for multi agency staff to let us know how 'fatehr' friendly your services/ establishments are. Again this information will be fed back and used for planning and training purposes.

Take the Staff Survey!
